VistAbility is a large nonprofit agency that provides services to 1,000 children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities every day. Based in Martinez, VistAbility offers a wide variety of services in Richmond, Concord, Antioch, and Castro Valley. VistAbility is dedicated to providing direct services and advocacy to assist those they serve in achieving their highest level of personal independence and self-sufficiency
VistAbility is currently hiring for numerous positions at all their sites, including:
- Day Program Instructors
- After School Program Teachers
- In-Home Caregivers
- Employment Advocates
- Inclusion Advocates
- Preschool Instructors and Assistants
- Job Skills Trainers
- Direct Support Professionals
- Quality Support Specialists
- Community Vocational Specialists
Representatives from VistAbility will briefly introduce their agency and speak about their open positions, and job seekers will have the opportunity to submit questions via the event’s online chat, which will be given to the agency representatives by EDC Staff. Hearing directly from employers at hiring events, whether virtual or in-person, is a great way to network with companies that are looking to hire, and to find out more about how to apply and be considered for open positions.
