East Brother Beer Co.’s flagship beer, Bo Pils, is the recipient of a silver medal from the Brewers Cup of California, held March 13 at The Crest Theatre in Sacramento by The Sacramento Area Brewers Guild and the brewers guilds of California.
East Brother Co-founder Rob Lightner said that winning the silver medal is a “tremendous honor for our team” and a reflection of the hard work and dedication put into every brew. Bo Pils is a labor of love for the brewery, which is thrilled to share this achievement with the community, who have supported them every step of the way, he said.
Bo Pils is described as a crisp and flavorful beer in the classic Bohemian Pilsner style and offers a taste of history in every sip.
Earning the silver medal at the Brewers Cup of California is a milestone for East Brother, marking its place among the top breweries in the state. Bo Pils is adding the honor to its other awards and accolades, including a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival; gold medal at the California Craft Brewers Summit; a ranking of #11 by VinePair in their 50 Best Beers of 2020; and a Gold Rating from USA Beer Ratings in 2021.
The brewery said that the recent recognition at the Brewers Cup is a testament to East Brother’s unwavering commitment to brewing beers that are both timeless and timely.
