Richmond’s Atchison Village once housed Kaiser Shipyard workers during WWII, but it will soon play home to makers of another sort at the “Atchison Village Arts & Crafts Sale” Sat., Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Set to take place at the Atchison Village Hall this Saturday, the Arts & Crafts Sale will feature locally created arts and handmade crafts for sale, according to resident Beatriz Piedra. Snacks and drinks will be served.

Some of the original works for sale at the second annual event will include jewelry, wine glass charms, fused glass, ornaments, drawings, pottery, art cards, ceramic sculpture, T-shirts, dog houses, photography, linoleum cut prints, drawings and paintings, according to organizers.

Atchison Village Hall is located at 270 Curry St. in Richmond.
