Do you drive an electric car/bike or want to? If so, you don’t want to miss the free “National Drive Electric and eBike Event” coming to Richmond City Hall Thurs., Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizers said that the returning annual event will offer the 411 on EV ownership, local electric mobility services and programs and EV charging equipment.  “Connect with financing and rebate program representatives, view various electric vehicle models, landscape equipment, autonomous vehicles and meet EV owners,” they said.

Ride and Drive Clean will be at the event showcasing various EVs and eBikes, and will have its “Ask Me Anything EV” booth on hand, per organizers. Information about EVs, charging and incentives (standard and income/qualifying) will also be available, while there will also be a bidirectional charging station to demonstrate using an EV battery to power up home appliances.

Those owning electric vehicles, eBikes, or other solar powered vehicles and/or equipment are encouraged to display them at the event.

Richmond City Hall is located at 450 Civic Center Plaza in Richmond. RSVP for the National Drive Electric Vehicle and eBike Event here.
