Biancoverde, the soon-to-debut restaurant at the Hotel Mac in Point Richmond—which was previously reported to be having a soft opening Saturday—is NOT open to the public this weekend.
The Hotel Mac previously misreported the soft opening for this Saturday on Facebook; that will be a PRIVATE event for restaurant staff, according to the restaurant’s co-owner, Blanca Zepeda, who also co-owns Mi Casa Grill with her husband, Juvenal Magna, in Richmond.
The good news for the Richmond community, which is eagerly awaiting the restaurant’s opening? Zepeda confirmed that Bianoverde will possibly have a soft opening for the public this Tues., July 4, and then will be open thereafter. “Stay tuned; once we do the soft opening, we’ll be open,” said Zepeda. A Grand Opening will also take place in the near future as a wider celebration.
Zepeda confirmed that, when the restaurant opens, it will specialize in Italian cuisine with a blend of signature dishes—like lasagna—and made-to-order menu items, as well as gluten free, vegan and vegetarian selections. The restaurant’s name, Biancoverde, is Italian for white and green.
The bottom line? The restaurant is ready to roll and the local community can stay updated on the potential soft opening and Grant Opening in the Richmond Standard and also on Biancoverde’s website, where there’s a newsletter sign-up.
Biancoverde will “start posting the menu online and start taking reservations on Opentable” soon, according to Zepeda.
When it opens, Biancoverde will be located at the Hotel Mac at 50 Washington Ave. in Point Richmond. Hours of operation for the eatery—again, upon opening—will be Thursday through Tuesday (closed Wednesday) from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Questions? Email the restaurant at [email protected].
