For one golden evening, Richmond’s favorite WWII victory ship will transform into the “Red Oak Casablanca” when it shows the 1942 film in its theatre Thurs., July 20. The ship opens to the public at 6:30 p.m. and the film starts at 7 p.m.

Joining the film’s Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman aboard the Red Oak Victory ship that night will be Bard Clan Wines, which will offer wine tastings and wines for sale. Snacks, drinks and beer will also be available for purchase and freshly popped popcorn will be on hand for free.

“There is no need to make reservations. Just show up and be ready to enjoy,” stated the ship’s crew about the movie on Facebook. The film showing is free, although a $10 donation is appreciated.

The Red Oak Victory is located at 1337 Canal Blvd., Berth 5, in Richmond. Learn more about the ship here.
