Richmond sets the date for Juneteenth Family Parade & Festival

Richmond’s “2023 Richmond Juneteenth Family Parade & Festival” is returning to Richmond on Sat., June 17, courtesy of the Neighborhood Block Association (NBA), City of Richmond and Chevron Richmond.

Plans are for the Juneteenth parade to kick off at the Booker T. Anderson Center at 10 a.m. and end at Nicholl Park, 3230 Macdonald Ave., Richmond, where the festival will be held, according to info provided by Crime Prevention Manager for the City of Richmond Michelle Milam. Following the parade, the Juneteenth festival will get rolling at Nicholl Park from 11:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Further details surrounding the event’s offerings are still in the works.

Those interested in registering to participate in the parade or as a festival vendor can click the corresponding links to sign up before the big day.
