Circus Bella and Abigail Munn are returning to Point San Pablo Harbor in Richmond Sun., June 18 to present two showings of “BANANAS!,” a modern interpretation of a one-ring outdoor circus, at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The free, family friendly show will feature the Circus Bella Company, which producers call “a stellar array and diverse talented troupe of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and clowns from the Bay Area and beyond.” The troupe will perform to live music by Rob Reich and the six piece Circus Bella All-Star Band, while the show is directed and written by Munn.
Again, the show is free and suitable for children of all ages, and is described as being “a bombastic, ballyhoo and celebration of silliness,” according to show producers. “Circus Bella is pure joy and just the thing we need right now.” This year marks the troupe’s 14th annual summer season.
Point San Pablo Harbor is located at 1900 Stenmark Dr. in Richmond. There is a $5 parking fee. Circus Bella does not provide seating at events, so community members are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and small folding chairs. Learn more about Circus Bella here.
