The Backyard in Richmond just amped up the fun. Last night, the City of Richmond’s Planning Commission approved alcohol sales at the outdoor eatery, so now they can serve up beer or wine with your sandwich or tartine.
The Backyard, which opened in early November 2022, offers a breakfast (served all day), lunch and whenever menu of egg incarnations, sandwiches, burgers, tartines and such in a lively outside setting. The eatery, which operates out of food trucks, has taken a lot on lower Cutting Blvd. and transformed it with palm trees, woodchips, colorful signs, outdoor games, dining tables and a killer menu.
Hours of operation for the eatery are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It’s closed Monday and Tuesday. Check out the menu here, which can be ordered for dining in-person onsite, for curbside pickup or online via Uber Eats.
The Backyard is located at 205 Cutting Blvd. in Richmond. Questions? Email The Backyard at [email protected] or check out its website.
