The Hilltop District Neighborhood Council is requesting feedback from neighbors on a proposal to replace the former Chevy’s restaurant site with a Homewood Suites by Hilton.

The 5-story hotel development would cover 73,599 square feet and 1.69 Acres at 3101 Garrity Way, the HDNC reported on Facebook.

The neighborhood council is working with the city’s planning staff on the project.

“We would like to hear your feedback on this development,” the council stated in the Facebook post.

Bhavin Khatri, president of the HDNC, received renderings of the project while inquiring about the proposal with city officials.

Officials said the project will need to go through the city’s design review and conditional use permitting processes, and is also subject to environmental review.
