Nonprofits encouraged to apply for Chevron ECIA grants

Nonprofit organizations that provide services focused on supporting the community, youth and youth sports in Richmond are encouraged to apply for this Chevron-funded, city-administered grant program.

The 10-year Chevron Modernization Project Environmental and Community Investment Agreement (ECIA) program provides grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 on an annual basis to nonprofits serving Richmond residents. Recent awardees of the program, which launched in FY 2016-17, have included Building Blocks for Kids, Fresh Approach, the Richmond Museum of History and Culture, the Richmond RotaCare Free Clinic and Youth Code Now.

The deadline to submit an application for this year’s grant program is Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. To access the ECIA grant application, guidelines, and more check out the ECIA Grants webpage here.
