DJ Lance Rock of Nickelodeon’s hit show Yo Gabba Gabba will join artist Jerome Lu for a reading of their new book The ABC’s of Awesomeness Sat., Jan. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Multicultural Bookstore in Richmond. A meet and greet will also take place.
At the special storytime event, DJ Lance will read from his book while showing kids the alphabet complete with “creative letters, concepts and backgrounds that will inspire their interest in learning to read,” according to organizers, who added that each page focuses on one letter of the alphabet.
“There are 26 creatively designed letters on each page, each showcasing the wonderful literary world of DJ Lance Rock” said organizers.
