Point Richmond Music’s free concert series continues tomorrow with a performance of Dirty Cello and The Mad Maggies.
Dirty Cello will perform from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. while The Mad Maggies will perform from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Park Place and Washington Avenue in Historic Downtown Point Richmond.
While enjoying music in the street, attendees can dine at local restaurants offering a wide array of cuisines, a rotating selection of food trucks, and can fetch beverages served in biodegradable cups from Point Richmond Music’s no host bar. Proceeds from the no host bar directly support the music series.
While a limited number of festival-style seating is available, concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own festival/lawn chairs.
The free outdoor concert series is making its highly anticipated return this summer following a two year pandemic pause.
Beyond Friday’s shows, there is one more date remaining in the 2022 Summer Music Festival Lineup. On Fri., Sept. 9, Laurie Lewis will perform from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Andre Thierry will perform from 6:45 to 8 p.m.
The volunteer powered PRM said it produces the concert series in support of its mission to build community through the unifying language of music. For more info, visit PRM’s website or Facebook page.
