A Richmond charter school teacher has been charged with 29 counts of lewd acts involving seven boys ages 15 to 16, authorities announced Friday.
Anessa Paige Gower, 35, was a biology teacher at Making Waves Academy at 3045 Research Drive for about three and a half months from October to Feburary, according to KTVU (Ch. 2), which sourced its information from Richmond police and county prosecutors. Sex acts, inappropriate touching and the sharing of sexually graphic photos online are alleged.
Making Waves told KTVU that it immediately notified authorities when allegations came to light and that it no longer employs Gower.
