Richmond police are investigating a shooting that occurred after a fight broke out at De Anza High School this afternoon. No one was struck by gunfire, police said.
Officers responded to the high school at 5000 Valley View Road following a report of shots fired on the campus, police said. Shortly after the final bell of the day, several students were involved in a fight and, during the fight, a shooting occurred, police said. While no one was shot, one student sustained non-life threatening injuries during the incident. No arrests have been reported.
