Kiwanis Club to celebrate Richmond public safety pros Friday

The Kiwanis Club of Richmond is readying to honor several top public safety pros at its virtual Annual Public Safety Awards Celebration Fri., March 11 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Those being honored for their work in 2021 include: Police Officer of the Year: Brandon Hodges; Police Detective of the Year: Richard Ramos; Dispatcher of the Year: Chanisce Robinson; Police Professional Staff Member of the Year: Charles Sudduth; Team Work Award: Amanda Legaux, Rosaisela Salmeron and Adilene Vargas; Firefighter of the Year: Benjamin Faulkner; and Community Partner-Anselmo Ramirez, Moving Forward.

To register for the online event, click here. Registration is $15 for guests; sponsorships begin at $500 and range up to $2,500. Lynn Maack is the benefactor sponsor of the event.
