The Richmond Youth Council launched a school supplies drive on Monday that runs through Sept. 10.
Community members are encouraged to donate supplies to a collection bin in the lobby at 450 Civic Center Plaza during business hours Monday through Friday.
“The donations will be delivered to an elementary school or youth serving organization during the week of Sept. 13,” city officials said, adding, “The target recipients are elementary and middle school students in Richmond.”
