Local residents aged 12 and over who receive their first COVID-19 vaccine dose at two local clinics operated by LifeLong Medical Care will get a free ticket to Six Flags, according to the California Department of Public Health.
The offer is all part of California’s “Vax for the Win” incentive program, which will see 50,000 residents benefit from a $4.5 million giveaway of Six Flags tickets valid now through Sept. 6 at any of the parks in the state: Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia; Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo; or either of the Six Flags water parks, Hurricane Harbor Concord or Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles.
Before residents can enjoy the wild rides this summer, they need to get their first COVID-19 vaccination. Locals can head over to LifeLong William Jenkins Health Center, 150 Harbour Way, Suite 200, in Richmond or LifeLong Brookside San Pablo Health Center, 2023 Vale Road, in San Pablo to receive their vaccinations and their Six Flags tickets.
Unvaccinated local residents can walk into either aforementioned LifeLong facility for a free COVID-19 vaccine. Those who prefer to set up an appointment can click here for more info.
“As of June 15, the state has eliminated pandemic-related restrictions that have been in place over the past year, including physical distancing, capacity limits, county tier systems and mask requirements for vaccinated Californians in just about all settings,” said California Department of Public Health officials in a statement.
