West Contra Costa residents can rest easier by getting rid of their old, unused mattress at a free drop-off event in Pinole Saturday, June 12.
The mattress-only drop-off event will occur from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Pinole Valley Road and Simas. Residents of El Cerrito, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond, San Pablo, and unincorporated communities in West County can drop off mattresses, box springs and futon mattresses, for a limit of three items per household.
