Demonstrating an “if you can’t come to the party, then the party will come to you” spirit, Richmond’s finest are welcoming local community members to join them for the “RPD Holiday Virtual Event” on Zoom Wed., Dec. 16.

Set for 4 p.m. that afternoon, the RPD touts its virtual party as not only an opportunity to connect with fellow community members while enjoying seasonal music, but also a chance to get the 411 on holiday safety information.

To join the Zoom party, click here; the meeting ID is: 862 9521 7308. Learn more about the event here.

It’s not the time the RPD will be connecting with community members this holiday season. On Dec. 24, they’ll be handing out toys from the Richmond Police Activities League headquarters at 2200 Macdonald Ave. The Richmond Xmas Toy Giveaway will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Toys will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
