Richmond police are seeking two suspects in connection with a strong arm robbery at the Macdonald Avenue BART underpass on Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the area at about 12:19 p.m., Richmond police Capt. Al Walle said.
The victim was struck in the head with a bottle, grabbed in a chokehold, thrown to the ground, hit with a rock and robbed of his wallet by two suspects who fled in a blue, newer model Toyota SUV, Walle said.
The suspects were described as a Black man and woman in their mid-20s. The male suspect was about 5-10, 140 pounds and was wearing a black baseball cap, a grey pullover sweatshirt with a NASA logo on the front, black pants with white stripes along the side seams, and dark shoes, Walle said. The female suspect was about 5-3, 125 pounds with long black braided hair, wearing an orange pullover hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans torn in the front and dark shoes.
