The Richmond Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to identify Norvi Dzidzornu’s killer. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest in the case.
Dzidzornu, 37, was murdered Sunday, June 14 at Carlson Meadow on the Richmond Greenway near Carlson Boulevard, where she resided in a tent. On Monday, Dzidzornu’s sister was joined by dozens of community members in remembering her at a vigil outside the Greater Richmond Interfaith Program shelter.
Dzidzornu served as an outreach worker for MASK-Healing Circles and would work closely with women who were victims of domestic violence. She was described as a loyal, caring person who was loved in her community.
