Small businesses in Downtown Richmond district and throughout the United States are the backbone of our community and are suffering due to the impacts of COVID-19. They need your help to advocate for them.

Funds promised to help small businesses as part of the CARES Act have already run out, just a few weeks after being made available. Without direct action we face the reality of 7.5 million U.S. small businesses closing in 5 months and 35.7 million Americans losing their jobs. We cannot let this happen!

If you own a small business…
If you have applied for a CARES Act loan…
If you LOVE your neighborhood shops, restaurants, barbers…
If you rely on your local businesses to get goods and services…
If you believe in the POWER of Main Street businesses…

ACT NOW!

Tell Your Representative and Senators to Invest our Main Street to replenish the CARES Act Programs by copying & pasting the message (feel free to customize)

As I’m sure you are aware, funds for Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Paycheck Protection Program have been exhausted, just a few weeks after release. Small businesses in your districts and throughout the United States are the backbone of our economy and are suffering greatly due to the impacts of COVID-19. I thank you so much for all your great work in tirelessly fighting for our community and ask you to ACT NOW to put more funds into these programs, provide direct grant relief, and increase the capacity of our Small Business Development Centers, Women’s Development Centers, and Main Street programs working hard to help our small businesses survive. Without direct action we face the reality of 7.5 million small businesses closing in 5 months and 35.7 million Americans losing their jobs. We cannot let this happen!
