Suspected graffiti vandals arrested after 12 Richmond businesses tagged

Richmond police recently arrested two suspects in connection with defacing buildings and city-owned properties with graffiti in the area of 23rd Street and Wendell Avenue in Richmond.

“The duo were detained and found with cans of paint and permanent markers on them,” police said. The suspects weren’t identified.

In total, 12 businesses were tagged with graffiti, police said. RPD is asking anyone who may have fallen victim to the graffiti in the photos to contact Detective Bartley at [email protected].
