Richmond-based C. Overaa and Co. is seeking bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers for the ongoing project to build a new Wilson Elementary School campus at 629 42nd St.
The school has been operating this year on a temporary campus at 7150 Portola Drive in El Cerrito. Students and teachers are expected to return to the 42nd Street campus during the 2020-21 school year.
The new campus, which will replace an aging campus that struggled with ceiling leaks and other issues, will feature three 1-story buildings and two 2-story buildings, one of which will have a large multipurpose room attached.
