A driver was arrested Monday after police clocked him going 85 mph on Richmond Parkway at Goodrick Avenue, police said.
The officer who was at the intersection monitoring for speed made the traffic stop about 9:50 a.m., Richmond police Capt. Al Walle reported.
“The motorist had a glass pipe on the front seat and admitted to smoking methamphetamine 30 minutes prior to the stop,” Walle said.
The driver was found in possession of six grams of meth, Walle added.
