The Factory Bar is tickling Richmond’s funny bone via a new monthly live standup-comedy showcase called “Comedy at The Factory.” The first comedy night will kick off at The Factory Tues., March 1 from 8 to 9:45 p.m. Tickets will be sold in advance and at the door for $20.
The bar is partnering with Richard Barney, a producer of the hit San Francisco show “Submission Comedy” on the endeavor, which will bring in six-to-eight top Bay Area comedians to perform 10-12 minutes of their best material.
“We’ll be using our Polka Dot Room to create an intimate venue to enjoy some of the best comedians in the Bay Area,” said Tom Lyons, co-owner of the bar.
He added that patrons can expect to see performers from the SF Punchline, Cobb’s, the San Jose Improv and comedians who have appeared on Late Night TV, Comedy Central and Netflix.
The Factory is located at 12517 San Pablo Ave. in Richmond. To purchase tickets to Comedy at The Factory, click here. Proof of vaccine is required. Learn more about the bar here.
