Santa swag and a live virtual performance of “A Richmond Nutcracker” are part of the seasonal lineup for Richmond Main Street Initiative (RMSI) and the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts’ (EBCPA) “The Great Goodie Bag Giveaway”—familiarly known as the “2021 Downtown Holiday Festival.” The annual event, a Richmond community favorite, is also presented by the City of Richmond.
The drive-up Goodie Bag Giveaway will take place Sun., Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the EBCPA, 339 11th St. in Richmond. A performance of A Richmond Nutcracker will take place Wed., Dec. 15 from 6-7 p.m. via YouTube Live.
Registration is free and required to attend and to receive goodie bags; the deadline to register is Fri., Dec. 10. RMSI and its partners remind community members that one registration is allowed per participant; for multiple goodie bags per household, use their name(s) in the registration process.
