CSB is currently hiring for Head Start Program teaching staff in the East, Central and West Contra Costa County child care centers serving children 0-5.

Positions available along with the salary ranges:
Master Teacher/Infant Toddler Master Teacher: $3,323.25 – $4,039.43/Monthly or $19.17 – $23.30/Hourly
Teacher/Infant Toddler Teacher: $3,128.48 – $3,802.68/Monthly or $18.04 – $21.93/Hourly
Associate Teacher/Infant Toddler Associate Teacher: $2,322.20 – $2,822.65/Monthly or $13.39 – $16.28/Hourly
Associate Teacher Substitute TEMPORARY: $13.26 – $16.12/Hourly
Teacher Assistant Trainee: Starting $10.71/Hourly
Minimum Qualifications for Master Teacher/Infant Toddler Master Teacher:
-California Child Development Master Teacher Permit
-Teacher/requires AA in Early Childhood Education or related field with 28 ECE units
-Infant Toddler Teacher requires 6 Infant Toddler units and BA preferred
Minimum Qualifications for Teacher/Infant Toddler Teacher:
-California Child Development Teacher Permit
-Teacher/requires AA in Early Childhood Education or related field with 28 ECE units
-Infant Toddler Teacher/requires 6 Infant Toddler units and BA preferred
Minimum Qualifications for Associate Teacher/Infant Toddler Associate Teacher:
-California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit
-12 Early Childhood Education units -AA in Early Childhood Education Preferred or related field -Infant Toddler Associate Teacher requires 6 Infant Toddler Units
Associate Teacher Substitute:
-Same requirements as Associate Teacher (Does not require permit)
Minimum Qualifications Teacher Assistant Trainee:
-No experience required
-Receive on-the-job training
-High School Diploma, G.E.D. equivalency or high school proficiency certificate
All positions require a valid CA Driver’s License, must successfully pass a physical exam/TB and Department of Justice fingerprint clearance.
