The East Bay Regional Park District Police Department arrested a man on suspicion of threatening a park employee at Point Isabel Regional Shoreline in Richmond.

On Feb. 21, officers responded to a disturbance of a man knocking over trash cans and telling a park employee, “you are dead.” The employee said the man’s aggressive demeanor and words made her fear for her safety, but the suspect left before officers arrived.

Three days later, the suspect returned, caused another disturbance, but was this time detained and positively identified in an in-field lineup, police said.

He was arrested on suspicion of criminal threats and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
