A 22-year-old dental assistant has been charged with committing four counts of sexual acts with a child under age 10 at a San Pablo dental office, according to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
Bonerge Maldonado-Zaldana, of Richmond, worked at the San Pablo Towne Centre Dental Office where the alleged crimes took place on April 5.
San Pablo police investigators “collected evidence and took statements from the victim’s mother, dental office staff, and the suspect on April 6 and determined there was probable cause to arrest Maldonado-Zaldana on April 8,” according to prosecutors.
The DA’s Office filed charged against Maldonado-Zaldana on the same day as his arrest. He is being held in the Martinez Detention Facility and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
