The Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) is inviting current and prospective educators to the County’s annual Teacher/Certificated Staff Recruitment Fair, which will be held virtually on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is free and will include representatives from several county school districts and charter schools. Recruiters in virtual booths will promote current job openings and resources and chat one-on-one with attendees. Along with the virtual booths will be information sessions for those interested in learning how to become a teacher, for educators looking to expand in their careers and for aspiring principals.
“Attendees will discover a number of countywide teaching positions in a variety of fields, including all levels of K-12 education, specialty, and substitute teaching positions,” County officials said. Â
