Richmond is bringing the community together for the 2026 Black History Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 28. The free event takes place at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium and focuses on joy, culture, and local history. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. at 403 Civic Center Plaza, and the main program runs from 1-3 p.m.
Attendees can look forward to line dancing and live music. Organizers are providing light refreshments. The family-friendly environment is built on good vibes and community pride.
