Richmond’s Snow Day event is now set for Feb. 18 at Nicholl Park.
The City of Richmond Community Services Recreation will host the gathering at 3230 Macdonald Ave. with activities like music, games, and rock climbing. Families should bring their snow gear and saucers to enjoy the winter scenery and purchase food from onsite vendors.
The city began a major partnership in 2023 to bring 20 tons of ice to the park for residents to enjoy at no cost. The 2025 event was postponed due to inclement weather.
