The City of Richmond is reopening its doors to young people ready to launch their careers, boost their resumes and make a positive impact in their community.
Richmond Youth Work Experience program applications reopen Nov. 16.
If you’re 16–21 years old and live in Richmond, you’re eligible to join. The program offers $18.66 per hour, real-world job experience and opportunities to make a difference in local community projects.
“This is more than just a summer job,” city officials say. “It’s a stepping stone toward your future. Participants may be placed in a variety of roles across city departments, community nonprofits, or social service agencies. Depending on your interests, you might support parks & recreation, public works, environmental initiatives, youth services, or neighborhood programs.
