Pinole’s first-ever Art Walk is set to take place in the heart of the city’s downtown on Friday, Aug.29, from 5-8 p.m.
The free, city-hosted event will have downtown shops, restaurants, and galleries transform into pop‑up showcases for local and regional artists. Attendees can explore gallery openings, admire handmade crafts, and enjoy light refreshments. The evening is designed for everyone: art enthusiasts, food lovers, and families alike.
Inspired by the belief that “life is pure adventure” (a nod to Maya Angelou), organizers hope the Art Walk will foster goodwill, creativity, and connection among residents, artists, and businesses.
Participating businesses include Uptown Yard, Broadway Rhythm Dance Company, Bear Claw Bakery & Cafe, DIOSA and State Farm — Lino Amaral Insurance & Financial Services Inc.
