In recognition of Juneteenth—America’s oldest nationally observed holiday marking the end of slavery—the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) is offering a Free Park Day on Thursday, June 19. Visitors can enjoy waived fees for parking, horses, boat launching, and fishing across all regional parks.
Excluded from the waiver are costs associated with swimming, camping, reservable picnic areas (due to limited capacity), concessions, state-issued fishing licenses, and watercraft invasive mussel inspections.
