The City of Richmond Finance Department will provide an overview of the budget process and share important financial updates at a series of community meetings next month.
All meetings will take place inside Richmond City Council Chambers, 440 Civic Center Plaza.
The Finance Department will host the first meeting at 1 p.m. on April 10.
The Richmond Neighborhood Coordinating Council will host the next meeting at 7 p.m. including a 10-minute presentation followed by a Q&A.
The Finance Department will host the third meeting at 5:30 p.m. April 23.
The City of Richmond adopts a budget annually to be effective July 1, for the ensuing fiscal year. Public hearings are conducted on the proposed budgets to review all appropriations and sources of financing.
