The City of San Pablo is seeking the community’s input on a new park that will be built at the old site of the former El Portal Elementary School.
The city received grant funding to design and build the $8.5 million, 4.8-acre McNeil Park, named after former San Pablo Mayor and Councilmember Leonard R. McNeil. Construction is anticipated to begin this winter.
Community members are encouraged to complete an online survey to help shape the new park’s design. Outreach events were held earlier this month as part of the community design process.
