The groundbreaking ceremony for the San Pablo Police Department headquarters, which was scheduled to occur today has been postponed due to scheduling and logistics considerations, the city announced on Aug. 7.
“No re-scheduled date has been operationally determined at this time,” city officials said.
The project will be a two-story building consisting of 42,000 square feet and will be located on a 2.3-acre lot adjacent to the new City Hall at the corner of Gateway Avenue and Chattleton Lane, according to the City of San Pablo.
The mailing address for the new center will be 1050 Gateway Ave.
