The City Manager’s Office, Economic Development, Environmental and Health Initiatives Division encourages residents to take advantage of $500 E-Bike rebates for income-eligible residents of Richmond and San Pablo, courtesy of Charge Up Contra Costa.

Visit Charge Up Contra Costa to learn more about the rebates.

To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years old, live in Richmond, San Pablo, Pittsburg, Bay Point or Antioch, and meet income qualifications. Rebates are available for people with total household incomes of less than or equal to 400 percent of current Federal Poverty Guidelines (see chart below). There is a limit of one rebate per person, and a maximum of two rebates per home address.

E-bikes must be purchased within the last six months.

If you live in Contra Costa County but don’t meet the income limits, you may still be eligible for a $150 e-bike rebate from 511 Contra Costa. If you live in Contra Costa County, but don’t live within one of the Equity Priority Communities, you may still be eligible for a $150-$300 e-bike rebate from 511 Contra Costa.
