Support local students while enjoying an evening on the bay at Contra Costa College Foundation’s fundraiser Wed., May 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Rigger’s Loft in Richmond.
During the special fundraising affair, visitors can expect “a delicious selection of wine and dinner by Chef Frank Miller…right on the bay—and support Contra Costa College students where their needs are greatest,” according to foundation Executive Director Sara Marcellino.
Other highlights of the evening will include a recent alumnus and current student sharing how donations make a difference, while the foundation will touch on some of its goals for the year ahead, per Marcellino. There will also be ample opportunities to mingle with fellow Contra Costa County community members.
“The foundation is currently seeking additional sponsors,” said Marcellino, who added that the foundation looks to raise $25,000.
Current sponsors include: GOLD: Wareham Development; Republic Services; and Phillip 66; SILVER: Contra Costa Building and Construction Trades Council; John and Sunne McPeak; Scannell Properties; CenterPoint; Westair; and Comcast; and BRONZE: Bill van Dyk, DDS and Margi Sullivan; and Dr. Kimberly R. Rogers.

“Ticket prices vary and any donation makes a difference, no one will be turned away,” said Marcellino.
