Want to learn more about Fresh Approach’s community work? “Feast & Flourish, A Farm-to-Table Celebration” Sat., April 29 from 6-9 p.m. at CoBiz Richmond, will provide that flavorful opportunity.

Aside from having chance to “explore” Fresh’s Approach’s work at the event, attendees will also have the opportunity “taste” its programming and meet its partners. Tickets to the celebration are $20-$250 and can be purchased here.

Chef Mario Hernandez will prepare a “farm-forward dinner” during the event with fresh seasonal ingredients from local farmers’ markets, according to Fresh Approach. Chef Towanna Turner of Mama Towanna’s Vegan Delights will serve up a range of desserts, while Subject to Change Wine Co. will provide the evening event with local and natural wine.

Aside from dinner, the celebration will feature a Silent Auction of “locally crafted goods and unique experiences in food, farming and gardening,” said Fresh Approach. A virtual “Feast & Flourish” Auction will support the organization’s food access and nutrition education programs.

Fresh Approach’s mission is to connect Bay Area people to “locally-grown produce, nutrition education and gardening skills” so that “everyone can enjoy access to healthy food.”
