The San Pablo Baseball Association will welcome the start of its 74th season next month with some fire power, Association President Andre Williams announced this week.
The Opening Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, April 8. All are welcome to the community event, which starts at 10 a.m. at San Pablo’s Davis Park, 1667 Folsom Ave. Along with a parade, the event will include food, music and baseball games.
Mike Norris, former Oakland A’s great, original member of the Major League Baseball Black Aces and CEO of Norris Baseball Academy, will throw out the first pitch to launch the season.Â
Special guest Twon Blake, the varsity baseball coach at De Anza High and founder of Hit n Run Baseball Academy, will come talk to the kids.Â
