All East Bay Regional Parks will be closed Wednesday and Thursday due to expected storm conditions and high winds, the Park District announced today.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch and high wind warning for the Bay Area.

The Park District plans to reopen the majority of parks on Friday, Jan. 6, after conditions are assessed.

Anyone entering the parks when closed is subject to citation or arrest. Pulic safety personnel may not be able to respond to emergencies in parks due to road and trail conditions.
