San Pablo hosting next Dumpster Day for residents on March 13

San Pablo’s Public Works Department is hosting a Dumpster Day on Saturday enabling city residents to get rid of old items.

What’s not accepted: mattresses, electronic devices, tires, batteries and all hazardous materials. Commercial vehicles and moving trucks will not be allowed, and personal vehicles will be limited to two cubic yards.

The event will take place at 2600 Moraga Road from 7 a.m. until the dumpsters get full.

Residents must wear masks at all times, stay 6 feet away from others and unload their ow debris from their vehicles. Only those unloading should step outside from vehicles, per COVID-19 precautions. Proof of residency should be shown to staff through your vehicle’s window.

“You will need to bring proof of San Pablo residency (PG&E or EBMUD statement with your address and a photo ID),” the city said. “Please see map to make sure you are a resident within San Pablo’s incorporated area.
