SEI (Strategic Energy Innovations) – a local nonprofit agency that offers paid internships in the energy efficiency field, paying $18/hour. The internship positions are in the residential building performance field, doing technical installation and maintenance work on building systems such as HVAC, water heaters, insulation, and windows. Great opportunities for folks who are handy, who like to fix things, take things apart and put them back together again, and who might enjoy reading a technical manual to learn how something works. This is a great way to launch a construction career!
24/7 Nightingale Home Care – a local agency that places certified nursing assistants, home health aides, and compassionate caregivers with seniors, disabled children, and adults needing care. 24/7 Nightingale Home Care positions offer flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and full or part-time positions here in the local community. They are looking for CNAs, HHAs. Caregivers with experience to start working right away, according to San Pablo EDC.
“The agencies will speak briefly about their open positions, after which job seekers will have the opportunity to speak directly to the agency representatives,” according to San Pablo EDC. “Have your resume ready to submit (PDF format is best but a Word doc also works); employers may also have you apply online with their companies.
