The City of San Pablo’s Public Works Department is hosting its next Dumpster Day for city residents on Saturday, March 13.

Dumpster Day will take place at 2600 Moraga Road from 7 a.m. to noon or until the dumpsters are full.

The event allows residents to get rid of any old items and is one of a number of strategies the city employs to reduce illegal dumping.

To be eligible, you must be a resident of incorporated San Pablo and must show proof of residency through your vehicle window (PG&E or EBMUD statement with your address and a photo ID).

Commercial vehicles and moving trucks are not allowed, and personal vehicles are limited to two cubic yards. Dumpster Days do not accept mattresses, electronic devices, tires, batteries or any hazardous materials.

Residents must wear masks at all times and stay 6 feet away from others, and only those unloading should step outside the vehicle. Questions can be directed to (510) 215-3070.

  1. If you’re not there early and waiting in line…… forget about it. Dumpsters are always full within an hour. Believe me, I’ve given up on these very poorly organized events.
