The replastering of the Emery G. Weed III Lap Pool will begin on Thursday, January 15, 2026. On Thursday, we will transition the majority of the programs into the Activity Pool. While this is technically a 90‑day project, we are optimistic that the work can be completed sooner. The timeline, however, is dependent on weather conditions and any unforeseen issues that may arise. There will be no Swim Lessons, Water Aerobics, or Aqua Zumba until the project is complete. Unsure about continuing swimming in the Activity Pool? Try it out, and if you don’t like it, you can pause your 30-day or Annual Pass for free (15-Punch Pass does not expire, no adjustments will be made to this pass) by filling out this form: https://loom.ly/Hf2Qowg There will be a few days throughout the project that we must close the entire facility due to construction activities. We will update the Swim Center webpage with that information at elcerrito.gov/swimcenter See less Comments Be the first to leave a comment.
