Richmond police are investigating an armed robbery early Friday where the gun-toting suspect climbed through the drive-thru window of a McDonald’s restaurant and stole cash from the registers.
The robbery occurred at 2:42 a.m. at the fast food restaurant in the 2300 block of Macdonald Avenue, Richmond police Capt. Al Walle reported.
After robbing the fast food business at gunpoint, the suspect fled east on Nevin Avenue. An arrest has yet to be made in the case. The suspect was described as a man in his early 20s wearing a ski mask and beige parka.
